Position Overview
The Dishwasher is a vital part of our kitchen operations, responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation standards that support a high-volume Mediterranean-meets-California coastal kitchen.
This role requires a reliable, detail-oriented individual who takes pride in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient workspace.
Essential Responsibilities:
-Operate and maintain dishwashing equipment
-Clean and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, and kitchen equipment
-Stock clean items in proper storage areas
-Maintain cleanliness of dish area, kitchen floors, and all workspaces
-Assist with basic food prep as needed
-Support kitchen cleaning and deep-clean projects
-Handle waste disposal and recycling procedures
-Maintain proper chemical storage and inventory levels
Required Qualifications:
-Previous kitchen experience preferred, but not required
-Ability to follow food safety and sanitation procedures
-Food Handler’s certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
-Reliable transportation
-Must be 18 years or older
Physical Requirements:
-Ability to stand for extended periods
-Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
-Comfortable working in hot, wet, and fast-paced environments
-Frequent bending, reaching, and repetitive motion
-Strong physical stamina for long shifts
Schedule:
-Full-time and part-time positions available
-Morning shift: 9:00am–5:30pm
-Evening shift: 2:00pm–10:30pm
-Weekend availability required
