Turman Commercial Painters is looking for skilled Field Superintendent/Shop Manager for North County San Diego, CA area.

Requirements: Field Superintendent
- Minimum 4 years' experience.
- Must be authorized to work in the US.
- Must be able to pass drug screen and physical.
- MUST HAVE VALID CDL and CLEAN DMV
Key Responsibilities: Shop Manager
• Deliver and pick up equipment, paint, ladders, and company vehicles as needed
• Manage company fleet, including scheduling maintenance, repairs, and handling recalls
• Maintain shop organization, ensuring tools, materials, and supplies are properly stored and accessible
• Track and manage inventory, including ordering and restocking paint and supplies
• Coordinate proper disposal of paint and materials with third-party vendors
• Support project managers, painters, and office staff with various operational tasks
• Assist with preparing materials and equipment for upcoming jobs
• Be available for occasional early mornings and night travel to support active job sites
Job duties include but are not limited to:
- A frontline supervisor, usually on-site.
- Directly oversees workers and daily tasks.
- Ensures work is done safely, correctly, and on schedule.
- Reports to the project managers.
Superintendent:
-Higher-level manager, often responsible for the entire project or multiple sites.
-Plans, coordinates, and monitors construction activities.
-Manages schedules, budgets, and subcontractors.
-Focuses more on overall project progress rather than day-to-day tasks.
