🎬 We're Hiring: Filmmaking Teaching Artist (Summer Program)
Veronica Arts Media Inc. is looking for a Filmmaking Teaching Artist to lead our weeklong summer intensive for NYC high school students. If you've got a strong filmmaking background and a real passion for helping young people find their creative voice, we'd love to hear from you.
In this role, you'll guide students through the full creative process — from developing ideas to producing finished media projects — in a hands-on, collaborative studio environment.
What we're looking for:
🎥 3+ years of filmmaking experience (directing, screenwriting, cinematography, editing, sound, or production)
🎓 2+ years teaching youth — in a classroom, after-school, workshop, or community setting
💡 Comfort guiding students from concept to completed project
🤝 Reliable, organized, and a strong communicator with students, staff, and partners
✊🏾 Genuine enthusiasm for media education, youth development, and helping young people tell their own stories
🌟 The ability to create a positive, inclusive space where students feel confident taking creative risks
