PETERARNELL is a multidisciplinary design office working with a number of top tier companies on brand design and design-led business development. We are seeking a Associate Industrial Designer with 1-2 years of experience to join our team as an integral part of our day-to-day operations and long-term development and growth.

The candidate should have a track record of designing and delivering commercial products to market; experience applying user-centered design methods, human factors engineering, and DFMA best practices during the product development process. The candidate should understand current brand trends, perceptions and overall interactions; someone who can tell stories and creatively synthesize analysis and put themselves in the minds of both the consumer and client to help us meet their needs.
About the Role
We are looking for a dedicated, on-the-go Personal Assistant to be a constant presence alongside a senior executive throughout their workday. Your job is to keep the executive's day running smoothly, from the first meeting to the last errand. You must be ready to travel at a moment's notice, including frequent domestic and international trips.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
• Travel with the executive daily. This is an in-person, always-present role.
• Manage and update the calendar in real time; keep the principal on schedule.
• Print, organize, and distribute meeting materials and presentation decks.
• Order meals, coffee, and refreshments as needed throughout the day.
• Run errands: pick up items, visit stores, coordinate deliveries.
• Handle luggage and personal belongings during travel.
• Draft and send professional emails and correspondence on behalf of the executive.
• Coordinate travel logistics: flights, hotels, ground transportation, and itineraries.
• Be available on weekends and outside standard hours when the schedule demands it.
• Anticipate needs before being asked and handle them efficiently.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Strong written communication: able to draft polished, professional emails.
• Comfortable with calendar tools, email platforms, and basic office software.
• Able and willing to travel frequently, on short notice, domestically and internationally. This is a firm requirement.
• Available on weekends and during flexible hours as needed.
• Physically capable of managing luggage and on-the-ground logistics during travel.
• Discreet, reliable, and trustworthy at all times.
• Calm under pressure with a service-first attitude.
