Epic Travel Staffing is hiring an Interim - Director Of Pharmacy
Shift: Non-exempt, Days, 8a-4:30p, 8x5, 40 hrs per week Weekends as needed; rotating on-call requirement shared with pharmacist
Duration: 13 weeks
Requirements:
- California BOP License
- 2 years recent DOP pharmacy hospital experience including IV compounding
- Management experience in the inpatient practice setting in CA
- BLS certification (American Heart Association; must be attached to submission packet)
Other Details:
- Directs and coordinates functions and activities of the Pharmacy Department
- Ensures compliance with patient care quality standards
- Directs and controls the purchase and inventory maintenance of all pharmaceuticals and related substances and supplies
- Directs and participates in the department's planning, revenue analysis, budgeting, education, and human resource management activities
- Consults with and advises Administration, Medical staff, and hospital staff on quality, regulatory, and risk issues within the Pharmacy Department
- Participates in all JCAHO and regulatory body surveys
- Supports and serves as consultant to all Medical staff and clinical service personnel on pharmaceutical-related issues
