Four Seasons Tree Care is hiring full-time Climbers who have experience in the tree care industry. We offer overtime (40+ hours per week), bonuses, training and provide all necessary equipment.
The Climber is responsible for performing skilled tree climbing and pruning, tree removal and stump grinding tasks in an efficient, safe and systematic order for both residential and commercial properties. Additional qualifications include the following skills and ability to demonstrate them proficiently:
Knowledge of tree climbing knots, safe chainsaw operation and maintenance, experience using chippers, stump grinders, pruning poles, ropes, harness, gas powered machinery, cabling or bracing, and use of truck mounted boom lifts in order to reach targeted limbs.
There is opportunity for growth into Foreman / Crew Leader.
General Requirements
· Must have a minimum of two (2) years climbing experience
· Legal authorization to work in the United States
· Must pass a drug screen test upon offer of employment and be subject to periodic and random testing
· Semi-skilled in mechanics of basic power tools and equipment
· Proficient in tree climbing using the rope and saddle method and proper ground work
· Knowledge and ability to tie basic knots including but not limited to: Bowline, Blake’s hitch and Clove hitch.
· Knowledge and ability to use lowering techniques and devices as related to tree work
