Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst to partner with business stakeholders in developing, delivering, and maintaining analytics solutions that drive informed decision-making. This role is responsible for transforming complex data into actionable insights through data analysis, visualization, reporting, and strategic collaboration. The ideal candidate combines strong technical skills with the ability to communicate findings effectively to business audiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand strategic objectives, business challenges, and analytical needs.
- Gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into data-driven solutions and analytical project plans.
- Lead analytics initiatives from requirements gathering through implementation and delivery.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on analytics projects and cross-functional strategic initiatives.
- Acquire, integrate, and validate structured and unstructured data from multiple sources.
- Ensure data quality, accuracy, integrity, and reasonableness through comprehensive validation processes.
- Act as the primary liaison for risk and performance analytics within assigned business areas.
- Analyze historical and current data to identify trends, patterns, risks, and business opportunities using advanced analytical methods.
- Review and validate analytical methodologies and outputs developed by other analysts.
- Design and deliver dashboards, reports, visualizations, and presentations that translate complex findings into clear, actionable recommendations.
- Develop, maintain, and optimize recurring reporting processes and analytical solutions.
- Create and maintain documentation, standards, and best practices for analytics processes and methodologies.
- Continuously expand business and analytical knowledge and share expertise with team members.
- Support special projects and perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience as a Data Analyst or in a related analytics, business intelligence, or reporting role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Mathematics, or a related field; equivalent combination of education, training, and experience will be considered.
- Experience managing and collaborating with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver data-driven solutions.
- Knowledge of risk and performance analysis best practices.
- Experience prioritizing work and projects based on business value and organizational impact.
- Tableau experience, including dashboard development, reporting, and data visualization (required).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Power BI for reporting and business intelligence solutions.
- Strong SQL skills for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
- Experience using Python for data analysis, automation, or reporting.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and presentation skills.
- Ability to communicate complex data findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
