The Financial Analyst will provide analytical support across the organization. This role will focus on financial forecasting, budgeting, performance analysis, creating online dashboards and reports, and investment transaction opportunity analysis, including financial modeling and due diligence support.
RESPONSIBILITES:
- Support the annual budgeting, forecasting, and reforecasting processes.
- Assist in building and maintaining financial models.
- Prepare variance analyses comparing actual results to budget and forecast, identifying key drivers.
- Perform scenario and sensitivity analyses to evaluate financial risks and opportunities.
- Support the preparation of multi-year financial projections and business plans.
- Create online dashboards/reports to track KPIs and identify actionable insights to assist in decision-making.
- Support data integrity, financial databases, and reporting processes to improve accuracy and efficiency.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align financial assumptions and performance reporting.
- Assist with financial modeling for potential acquisition, disposition, and investment opportunities, including cash flow projections and return analysis.
- Help evaluate refinancing scenarios and alternative capital structures under the guidance of senior team members.
- Prepare supporting schedules, exhibits, and summaries for internal investment reviews and leadership discussions.
- Support analysis related to market trends, operating metrics, and portfolio performance.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- BS/BA in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related.
- 3+ years’ experience in financial analysis, FP&A or a related analytical role.
- Foundational experience/strong interest in financial modeling and investment analysis.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with online data visualization platforms such as Power BI/Tableau a plus.
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Clear written/verbal communication skills, with the ability to present analyses in a structured and understandable manner.
- Progress toward MBA, CFA, or other relevant certifications is a plus but not required.
