We are looking for a dedicated RDA/DA to join our team long term. Our established and patient-focused dental practice in beautiful San Clemente, California is seeking an experienced dental assistant who is passionate about providing exceptional patient care and contributing to a positive team environment.

We are a small but very busy office, with three hygienists and two dentists, looking for a friendly, confident, and skilled dental assistant who enjoys working closely with both doctors and supporting patients throughout their treatment journey.
Monday – Thursday
7:30 AM – 5:30 PM
Compensation & Benefits:
$28.00 per hour

Qualifications:
Current California Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) License
Current X-Ray Certification (Required)
Current CPR Certification
Minimum 3-5 years of experience preferred
Knowledge of dental software
Strong organizational, clinical, and communication skills
Positive attitude and ability to work well with a team
Responsibilities:
Welcome and assist patients in a professional and friendly manner
Review patient charts, medical history, and treatment plans
Enter treatment plans as directed by the doctor
Perform all duties permitted under the RDA scope of practice
Prepare treatment rooms and patients for procedures
Assist dentists using four-handed dentistry techniques
Take high-quality digital radiographs using Dexis software
Take PVS impressions and digital scans using the iMedit scanner
Assist with restorative, crown, bridge, implant, and other dental procedures
Sterilize instruments and maintain OSHA compliance standards
Maintain clean, organized, and fully stocked treatment rooms
Assist hygienists with charting and patient care as needed
Check in and track laboratory cases according to scheduled appointments
Monitor and manage clear aligner cases online
Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Communicate patient needs effectively with the front office team
Contribute to a positive, team-oriented work environment

Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Graduation from an accredited Dental Assisting Program
