A leading commercial construction contractor is seeking a Project Manager I to support the successful delivery of large-scale commercial projects throughout Florida. Responsibilities
- Assist in managing commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
- Monitor project budgets, cost reports, and financial performance.
- Prepare, review, and manage change orders, RFIs, submittals, and project documentation.
- Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and field teams.
- Support procurement, buyout, and subcontract management activities.
- Track project schedules and identify opportunities to mitigate risks and delays.
- Utilize Procore and other project management tools to maintain project controls and reporting.
Qualifications
- 4–6 years of commercial construction project management experience.
- Strong understanding of construction budgets, forecasting, cost tracking, and change order management.
- Proficiency with Procore required.
- Experience managing RFIs, submittals, contracts, and project documentation.
- Ground-up commercial construction experience preferred.
- Hospitality, multifamily, mixed-use, healthcare, or large-scale commercial project experience is highly desirable.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Background
- Experience supporting projects valued at $20M+.
- Ability to interpret project financials and contribute to overall project success.
- Commercial construction experience preferred; residential-only backgrounds will not be considered.
