Senior Director of Information Technology (Central Pennsylvania)
Our team is conducting a confidential search in the Central Pennsylvania region for a senior IT leader to spearhead enterprise technology strategy and oversee the full scope of information technology operations for a well-established organization. This role will be responsible for shaping the long-term vision for technology, driving innovation, strengthening infrastructure, and ensuring secure, efficient, and scalable systems across the business.
Position Summary
The Senior Director of Information Technology will serve as the primary technology executive responsible for aligning IT strategy with organizational goals. This leader will oversee all aspects of IT operations, including infrastructure, enterprise systems, cybersecurity, data strategy, vendor management, and team leadership.
This role requires a forward-thinking, business-oriented technology leader who can partner across departments to identify opportunities for improvement, implement scalable solutions, and elevate overall operational performance through technology. The position plays a critical role in enabling innovation, improving efficiency, and supporting organizational growth.
Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Technology Leadership
- Lead the overall IT vision, strategy, and execution in alignment with enterprise objectives
- Partner with executive leadership to assess business needs and translate them into technology solutions
- Drive long-term IT planning, innovation initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts
- Guide the evolution and optimization of core business systems and platforms

Data & Analytics Strategy

Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 8+ years of progressive IT leadership experience in complex organizational environments
- Proven success leading IT teams, enterprise systems, and technology transformation initiatives
- Strong understanding of infrastructure, networking, cybersecurity, and cloud technologies
- Experience with enterprise platforms and business systems (ERP, BI tools, etc.)
- Demonstrated success in budgeting, vendor management, and strategic planning
- Familiarity with data governance, compliance frameworks, and security standards (e.g., SOX, HIPAA, CCPA, GDPR)
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
