Key Responsibilities:
Customized Program Design: Design and deliver safe, effective, and progressive personal training programs tailored to clients' specific goals, fitness levels, and movement capacities.
Movement Assessment:
Conduct thorough movement screenings to identify imbalances, postural issues, or mobility restrictions, ensuring clients move with optimal mechanics.
Client Coaching & Education:
Empower clients by teaching them the why behind their movements, fostering autonomy and long-term success.
Community & Connection:
Build meaningful, supportive relationships with members. Be a positive, welcoming presence on the gym floor.
Safety First:
Maintain a pristine and safe training environment, ensuring all exercises are performed with impeccable form.
What You Bring (Requirements)
The Mindset:
You are, fundamentally, a good person. You possess high empathy, excellent listening skills, a positive attitude, and zero ego.
The Expertise:
Deep knowledge of anatomy, kinesiology, and functional body movement. You understand how the body connects and moves as a whole system.
Certifications:
A current personal training certification from a nationally recognized organization is not required, but will help chances (e.g., NASM, ACSM, ACE, NSCA) or a degree in Kinesiology/Exercise Science.
Experience:
Proven experience coaching clients of varying fitness levels (preferred, but a great attitude and willingness to learn go a long way). At least 1 year experience is necessary.
Safety:
Current CPR/AED certification. Its not required, but will help chances
