About C.A.S.At Creative Arts and Sports (C.A.S.), our mission is to provide every child – regardless of background or ability – with access to elite-level basketball training, life skills, mentorship, and a positive community that champions growth on and off the court.
The RoleWe are seeking a high-agency, entrepreneurial operator to work directly with the Founder to build and scale the business. This role sits at the center of operations and growth, owning day-to-day execution while helping drive new revenue through partnerships and programming.
This is a contract-to-hire role (~20 hours/week to start) with a clear path to full-time employment. Due to the nature of sports, work times may include evenings and/or weekends.
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Program Management- Own scheduling, logistics, and program setup (e.g., LeagueApps)
- Ensure smooth execution of camps, clinics, leagues, and events
- Coordinate across coaches, facilities, and partners
- Identify and implement operational improvements
Customer Experience & Communications- Serve as primary point of contact for parents, players, and partners
- Manage inbound inquiries and resolve issues quickly and professionally
- Build systems for consistent, high-quality communication
Business Development- Drive new revenue across: B2C: player registrations, camps, clinics, training sessions; B2B: school partnerships, leagues, sponsorships
- Identify and execute partnerships with schools, brands, and community organizations
- Support outreach, relationship management, and deal execution
Founder Support & Strategy- Partner directly with Founder on priorities and execution
- Track key initiatives, timelines, and performance metrics
- Build financial models and business cases
- Support fundraising preparation and materials as needed
Expansion & Growth Initiatives- Assist with planning and execution of new locations and facilities
- Support vendor coordination and project tracking
- Contribute to long-term growth strategy
Qualifications- 2–5 years of experience in consulting, startups, sports, or operations roles
- Strong organizational and execution skills with high attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability or interest in business development and partnerships
- High ownership mindset; comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Strong communication skills and customer orientation
- Passion for sports and youth development a plus
CompensationPhase 1: Contract (~0–90 Days)- ~$40–$60/hour (targeting ~20 hours/week)
- Opportunity for performance-based upside tied to revenue contribution
Phase 2: Full-Time (Post-Conversion)- ~$125K–$135K total compensation target
- Performance-based compensation tied to revenue growth and business development
- Potential for long-term upside based on impact and role progression
