ADVANCED PRIVATE SECURITY TRAINING FOR QUALIFIED STUDENTS (San Diego)
It is time to elevate professionalism and career opportunities in the protection sector. Our objective at Pacific West Academy is to aid serious students in serving the high-end security and executive protection sectors.
We are a state-approved, BSIS & CA Dept. of Education (www.PWA.Edu) training academy specializing in Executive Protection. Our 12-day (two-week) training provides in-depth, hands-on instruction to prepare you to become a highly trained Private Security Officer.
Our course covers California Guard Card, Exposed Firearms Permit, OC, Taser, baton training, executive protection fundamentals, school security, AED, CPR, First Aid, and more!
We offer full financial aid funded by the Sallie Mae Option Student Loan for Career Training* (must be creditworthy/ to qualify), designed to provide quality employment and training services and qualify for meaningful employment. Our staff comprises American and Israeli Military Veterans who will work to guide our students toward success in high-end security. Our goal is to assist our students in achieving not only job attainment but also gainful employment.
Requirements to be eligible for the program are
1. Current CA Driver's License
2. Must be able to obtain a Security State license (Guard Card, Baton & Exposed Firearms)
3. Have not been convicted of a felony or violent misdemeanor associated with assault or battery or the like in any of the 50 states.
4. Commits to seeking employment immediately after graduation in the security field (part-time or full-time).
