Achilles Coffee is a local coffee roaster with five locations in the San Diego area. Our newest location is at 12730 Carmel Country Rd. We are hiring a busser, food runner, and dishwasher for Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Must be able to work the days listed.
Job Description:
This position will be responsible for running food from the window to inside and outside tables, clearing dishes from inside and outside tables, wiping down tables, washing dishes, sweeping and mopping, for here and to go roll ups, and restocking for chefs and baristas.
Up to 37hrs/week.
No experience is required and the position starts immediately.

Duties
* Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen and dining areas by washing dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment efficiently
* Clear and reset tables promptly to ensure smooth flow of service and guest satisfaction
* Assist with food running by delivering prepared dishes from the kitchen to tables quickly and accurately
* Support the team by removing used dishes, glassware, and trash to uphold cleanliness standards
* Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed to maintain safety and hygiene standards
* Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, servers, and management to coordinate timely service
* Help reset dining areas for service, including arranging tables, chairs, and condiments as needed
* Keeping for here and to go roll-up containers stocked for service.
Experience
* Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required
* Familiarity with cleaning procedures, food handling safety protocols, and basic hospitality practices is advantageous
* Experience working in catering or hotel settings can be beneficial but is not mandatory
* Strong communication skills are essential for collaborating effectively with team members and providing excellent customer service
* Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
