Coronado Yacht Club is looking for experienced servers for private club dining. Coronado Yacht Club Server provides premium service to members and guests, ensuring a positive dining experience while upholding the club's standards. They are responsible for greeting guests, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and handling payments. Servers also maintain a clean and organized dining area, monitor guest satisfaction, and assist with side work.
Various Shifts. Availability to work evenings, Sunday availability required.
Responsibilities:
• Greet guests: Welcome members and guests in a warm and friendly manner.
• Take orders: Accurately record food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen and bar staff.
• Serve food and beverages: Present orders promptly and efficiently, ensuring accurate placement of dishes and drinks.
• Monitor guest satisfaction: Check on guests throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
• Handle payments: Process cash and credit card transactions accurately.
• Maintain a clean dining area: Clear tables, reset them for the next guests, and maintain the overall cleanliness of the dining
room.
• Assist with side work: Set up service stations, stock supplies, and perform other assigned tasks.
• Knowledge of the menu and specials: Be knowledgeable about menu items, specials, and preparation methods.
• Provide exceptional service: Exceed guest expectations with attentive and professional service.
• Adhere to club policies: Follow all club rules and regulations, including those related to alcohol service.
Qualifications:
- At least one year of relevant experience and/or training
-Ability to always maintain a friendly, professional, team-oriented, positive demeanor and diplomatic attitude, especially under stress or challenges.
-Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time, up to and including, the entire shift and lift up to 25 lbs.
