Position Summary
We are seeking an IT Network & End-User Support Specialist to provide hands-on technical support across networking, endpoints, and physical IT infrastructure in office, warehouse, and manufacturing environments. This role supports daily operations by ensuring reliable network connectivity, secure user access, and effective end-user technology support.
The ideal candidate is a technically capable, service-oriented professional comfortable working onsite, supporting users, and maintaining IT systems in a regulated operational environment.
Key Responsibilities
Network & Infrastructure Support
- Support and troubleshoot LAN/WAN networks, VLANs, switches, wireless access points, and structured cabling.
- Assist with firewall configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting to ensure secure network operations.
- Monitor network performance and respond to connectivity issues and outages.
- Support physical IT infrastructure including racks, patch panels, UPS systems, and onsite network equipment.
- Assist with network expansions, hardware refreshes, and onsite IT projects.
- Support VoIP based phones
Identity, Endpoint & MDM Support
- Support user accounts, group memberships, and access issues in Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD).
- Assist with Microsoft Intune and Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions for device enrollment, compliance, and troubleshooting.
- Support Windows desktops, laptops, scanners, and mobile devices used across office and operational environments.
- Assist with device provisioning, imaging, and lifecycle management.
End-User Support
- Provide Tier 1–2 technical support for end users across office, warehouse, and production environments.
- Troubleshoot Windows OS, Microsoft 365 applications, printers, scanners, and peripherals.
- Support user onboarding and offboarding including hardware setup, access provisioning, and basic training.
- Respond to incidents and service requests in a timely and professional manner.
Physical Security & Access Control
- Support physical access control systems including badge and chip access.
- Assist with managing user access rights for secured areas.
- Coordinate troubleshooting and maintenance with security and facilities vendors.
- Support CCTV and related physical security systems as required.
Vendor & Partner Collaboration
- Work with IT vendors and business partners to support networking, security, and infrastructure initiatives under the direction of the IT Manager.
- Assist with vendor-led troubleshooting, maintenance, and onsite support activities.
Operational & Compliance Support
- Work onsite across office, warehouse, cold storage, and production environments.
- Follow USDA, SQF, and company safety requirements, including PPE usage.
- Document procedures, incidents, and system changes as required.
- Participate in after-hours or emergency support for business-critical systems.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field, or industry certifications (such as CompTIA Network+ or CCNA) with 4–6 years of relevant IT experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience supporting enterprise networks and end-user environments
- Experience working with firewall technologies
- Experience with Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions
- Working knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and basic networking concepts
- Experience supporting Windows operating systems, Entra ID, and Microsoft Intune
- Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and customer-service\end-user support skills
- Valid driver’s license
- Existing authorization to work in the United States (this position is not eligible for visa sponsorship)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with FortiGate firewalls
- Experience with SOTI MDM
- Experience supporting physical access control or security systems
- Experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or regulated environments
- Familiarity with VoIP systems and networked peripherals
Work Environment & Expectations
- Full-time onsite role
- Office, warehouse, cold storage, and production floor environments
- PPE required in designated areas
- Occasional after-hours or weekend support as needed
