Controls / Automation Engineer

What you'll do
- Design and integrate full automation cells (robots, feeders, vision, PLCs, HMIs, PCs).
- Develop and debug control software, then commission the machine through start-up.
- Draft electrical schematics; build or oversee panel wiring to UL/NEC standards.
- Lead upgrades on existing lines-controls, panel redesign, and new-tech retrofit.
- Collaborate with mechanical, manufacturing, and vendor teams to hit aggressive timelines.
What you bring
- B.S. in Electrical, Mechanical, Controls, or related engineering discipline.
- Curiosity and adaptability-comfortable learning the newest hardware or code.
- Hands-on experience taking a machine from concept to production (3+ years ideal).
- Proficiency with PLC/HMI programming (Rockwell or Siemens preferred), industrial robotics, motion, and vision systems.
- Collaborative, humble mindset; eager to mentor and be mentored on a tight, supportive team.
