Position Summary
The NetSuite Administrator is responsible for the administration, configuration, customization, and ongoing optimization of the Oracle NetSuite ERP system. This role supports critical business operations by ensuring system integrity, automating workflows, managing integrations, and improving processes across finance, operations, and supply chain teams.
This position requires experience supporting a product-based organization that manages physical inventory, which includes manufacturing, wholesale and distribution. The ideal candidate will also have strong technical expertise in NetSuite scripting, experience managing complex integrations, and experience working in a NetSuite OneWorld environment with multiple subsidiaries operating across multiple regions and currencies.
Key Responsibilities - Administer and maintain the Oracle NetSuite environment including user roles, permissions, workflows, forms, custom records, and system configurations.
- Manage NetSuite environments operating within NetSuite OneWorld, supporting multiple subsidiaries, regions, tax structures, and currencies.
- Support core ERP processes including inventory management, order management, procurement, fulfillment, and financial operations.
- Design, develop, test, and deploy custom scripts using SuiteScript to extend NetSuite functionality and automate business processes.
- Develop scripts from scratch including:
- User Event Scripts
- Client Scripts
- Scheduled Scripts
- Map/Reduce Scripts
- Suitelets
- RESTlets
- Build and maintain API integrations and automation using NetSuite scripting tools.
- Manage integrations between NetSuite and third-party operational platforms including:
- EDI systems
- Transportation Management Systems (TMS)
- Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
- Demand Planning platforms
- Monitor and troubleshoot integration and data synchronization issues.
- Configure and maintain saved searches, reports, dashboards, and workflows.
- Maintain accurate master data including items, customers, vendors, and inventory records across subsidiaries.
- Provide user support, troubleshooting, and training to internal stakeholders.
- Support system upgrades, testing, and implementation of new modules or system enhancements.
- Maintain documentation for scripts, workflows, integrations, and system configurations.
Required Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of experience administering Oracle NetSuite.
- Hands-on experience working within a NetSuite OneWorld environment supporting multiple subsidiaries across multiple regions and currencies.
- Experience working for a product-based company managing physical inventory (manufacturing, wholesale, distribution, etc.).
- Strong experience developing solutions using SuiteScript to design, build, and deploy scripts including:
- User Event Scripts
- Client Scripts
- Scheduled Scripts
- Map/Reduce Scripts
- Suitelets
- RESTlets
- Experience supporting integrations between NetSuite and operational systems including:
- EDI platforms
- Transportation Management Systems (TMS)
- Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
- Demand Planning platforms
- Internal Business Applications
- Strong understanding of inventory, order management, and supply chain processes. Order-to-cash, procure-to-pay.
- Experience troubleshooting scripts, integrations, and system performance issues.
- Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
