General Description
The IT Specialist provides technical support to end users, ensuring effective use of hardware, software, and network systems. This role supports system administration, troubleshooting, and IT service management while contributing to information security, governance, and documentation efforts.
Key accountabilities
Provide end-user support, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
Assist with administration, configuration, and maintenance of Microsoft 365 applications and accounts.
Support hardware lifecycle management, including setup, deployment, and maintenance.
Deliver training and guidance to end users to promote adoption of IT systems and tools.
Monitor system and network performance, escalating issues as necessary.
Maintain IT control documentation, system documentation, and user guides.
Support IT service management processes, including incident management, request fulfillment, and problem resolution.
Contribute to information security and data security practices in alignment with company policies.
Collaborate with IT leadership and team members on process improvements and technology projects.
Ability to demonstrate our company values in everyday work interactions.

Work experience and education requirements
Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration and applications.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve common hardware, software, and network issues.
Understanding of IT operations and system administration.
Familiarity with information security governance and data security practices.
Strong communication skills with the ability to train and support end users.
Attention to detail in maintaining documentation and following established procedures.
Collaborative, customer-focused, and motivated to learn new technologies and processes.
Technology-related degree preferred.
