Must Be A Certified Municipal Finance Officer To Apply
A major New Jersey municipality is seeking an experienced Director of Finance to lead all aspects of municipal financial management, including budgeting, accounting, financial reporting, debt administration, and internal controls.

Minimum Qualifications
- A current NJ Municipal Finance Officer (MFO) certification (Required)
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Public/Business Administration.
- Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in accounting, budgeting, auditing, or financial analysis
- Strong knowledge of governmental budgeting, financial reporting, and internal controls
Key Responsibilities
- Direct preparation and administration of the municipal budget
- Oversee annual financial statements, audits, and regulatory reporting
- Manage debt statements, bond issuances, and fund disbursement
- Develop and implement financial policies and accounting procedures
Pay: From $160,000.00 per year
