Republic Moving & Storage is seeking an experienced Custom Crate Builder to join our team.
This position is responsible for designing and building both internal and external custom wood crates used to protect high-value household goods, motorcycles, surfboards, fine art, antiques, machinery, and other specialty items during transportation and storage.

Schedule
Full-time
Monday through Friday
7:00 AM to 4:00 PM (aprox)
Compensation
$52,000 – $65,000 per year, depending on experience
Responsibilities
Build custom wooden crates to precise dimensions
Construct internal and external crates for fragile and high-value items
Measure, cut, and assemble wood components
Operate saws, nail guns, drills, and other power tools safely
Read and follow work orders and crate specifications
Maintain a clean and organized workspace
Requirements
Experience working with wood and power tools
Strong measuring and carpentry skills
Attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship
Ability to lift 50+ pounds
Dependable, punctual, and safety-conscious
Valid driver's license and clean driving record preferred
