As a Armed Security Officer - Afternoon Shipyard Proll in San Diego, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Wh You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-reled procedures, site-specific policies, and/or approprie emergency response activities an aerospace and defense locion.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situions in a calm, problem-solving manner, including situions th may require an armed presence in accordance with site post orders and Allied Universal guidelines.
- Conduct regular and random prols throughout buildings, controlled areas, and perimeter locions, helping to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
- Monitor access points, verify credentials and/or authorizions, and report unusual conditions, hazards, or security-reled concerns to the approprie personnel.
- Prepare clear, accure reports on prol activity, incidents, and observions, and assist with emergency communicions and/or coordinion during escaled events.
Minimum Requirements:
- A minimum of 6 months of security-reled experience is required.
- A TSA issued TWIC is required.
- An armed guard card and/or license is required.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigion in accordance with all federal, ste, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applicions with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participe in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to ste and/or local laws and regulions and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
