As the Director, Corporate Compliance and Ethics at Lineage, you will develop, implement, and oversee Lineage’s corporate compliance and ethics initiatives and programs, including global data privacy. This position will be responsible for key compliance initiatives, including policies and procedures, internal investigations, training, compliance counseling, diligence screening and compliance related monitoring and risk assessments. This position is critical to supporting Lineage’s strategic and operational objectives by championing a centralized, coordinated enterprise-wide approach to corporate compliance and ethics across multiple business units with a particular focus in North America. This role requires a deep understanding of corporate compliance and ethics, global data privacy regulations, risk mitigation, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Provide strategic leadershiptoand support allcorporate compliance and ethics initiatives working closely with the VP, Global Corporate Compliance & Ethics, global corporate compliance and ethics team, regional legal counsel as well as regional facility and functional leadership.
Provide subject-matterexpertiseand guidance on relevant compliance and related regulatory matters, including, without limitation, anti-bribery and corruption, anti-money laundering, ESG (including modern slavery), data privacy (including GDPR), cyber and data security, customs and trade compliance, whistleblowing, sanctions and antitrust.
Provide oversight to Lineage’s ethics reporting resources, including the Lineage Ethics Hotline,including tracking and assessment of key performance indicators to maintain an effective reporting mechanism, escalation and remediation processes for compliance concerns and whistleblower reports.
Conduct and manage internal investigations, including allegations of violations of Lineage’s code of conduct,and respond to whistleblower events in coordination with internal stakeholders, ensuring a fair and thorough process.
10 years of experience in corporate compliance and ethics role, which includes significant involvement in the design, implementationandadministration of corporate compliance and ethics programs gained through a major law or accounting firm, government enforcementpositionor multinational corporation.
Strong knowledge inanti-bribery and corruption, anti-money laundering, ESG (including modern slavery), data privacy (including GDPR), cyber and data security, customs and trade compliance, whistleblowing, sanctions and antitrust.
A self-starter withabilityto function at a high levelof effectiveness, flexibility, autonomy, and initiative without daily interaction with management.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including experience accurately interpreting and explaining state and federal laws, rules, contracts, regulations, and policies using plain talk.
Experience delivering presentations to diverse audiences on a variety of laws, rules, policies, and procedures.
