Essential Duties & Responsibilities
• Prepare and post journal entries, reconciliations, and cost allocations• Perform balance sheet and P&L reconciliations and analyses to ensure accuracy and completeness • Support month-end and year-end close processes, including accruals and adjusting entries • Track tax filings, business license renewals, and other compliance requirements • Maintain accurate financial records in accordance with company policies, procedures, and accounting standards • Support internal and external reporting by compiling and analyzing financial data • Collaborate cross-functionally to gather information needed for accruals, reconciliations, and reporting • Assist with audits, management reporting, and special projects as needed • Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and increase efficiency
Key Competencies and Minimum Education
• Bachelor’s degree required; Accounting or Finance preferred • 3+ years of accounting or finance experience required • Experience with bank and cash reconciliations preferred • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting processes • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and SUMIFS • Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills • Ability to prioritize competing deadlines and manage multiple responsibilities effectively • High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and accountability Key Competencies• Self-starter with strong initiative and follow-through • Proactive problem-solving and continuous improvement mindset• Strong collaboration and cross-functional communication • Continuous improvement mindset• Adaptability in a changing, high-growth environment
