WHO WE WANT:
The Junior Financial Advisor will be providing effective ongoing communication and client service to the firm’s clients. They will provide information about the client’s financial plans and goals. The Junior Financial Advisor has the opportunity to communicate the firm’s strategies and to improve the financial lives of our clients under the leadership and reputation of Beckerman Institutional, an independent Registered Investment Advisory firm.
WHAT TO EXPECT:
- Communicate regularly with clients about their financial plans, their portfolio, and various financial issues and concerns.
- Provide friendly and exceptional client service.
- Communicate regarding the firm’s financial planning and portfolio management information and solutions.
- Prepare for financial planning and investment management meetings.
- Conduct financial planning and portfolio review meetings.
- Nurture referral opportunities from existing clients.
- Assist with various client questions and issues as they arise.
- Assist in research.
- Assist in developing client presentations.
- Service client needs and requirements as determined through client interaction.
- Promote the firm’s wealth management strategies and financial planning services.
- Enter data into various technology tools, such as the CRM system, the Comprehensive Financial Planning software, investment management software, and financial service software and solutions, in order to help keep the client’s financial information up to date.
- Adhere to all company and industry supervisory guidelines and policies.
- Participate in meetings, training, and continuing education requirements as necessary.
- Assist the firm’s wealth advisors as requested.
- Assist with operations or client service tasks if needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Prioritize time-sensitive tasks and maintain task order.
- Interact as needed with the firm’s third-party vendors and software providers.
- Stay organized with pending items, follow-ups, and deadlines.
- Utilize company software subscriptions and technology tools effectively to drive client satisfaction.
- Willingness to study for the Series 65 or 66 exam.
WHAT YOU NEED:
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- Experience with financial planning, financial services, and/or investment advisory is required.
- Active Series 65 or 66 is a plus.
- Clean U-4 and U-5 history
- Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Excellent relationship management skills.
