As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our facilities maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and hospitality. You will lead a dedicated team of housekeeping staff, overseeing daily operations to create a welcoming environment for all guests. What you’ll do
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of housekeeping staff to ensure all areas are cleaned to the highest standards.
- Conduct daily inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to maintain quality control.
- Train and mentor team members on effective cleaning techniques, safety protocols, and customer service excellence.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring that all necessary materials are available for your team.
- Collaborate with other departments to address guest requests and resolve any issues promptly.
- Implement housekeeping policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and guest satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate records of staff performance, attendance, and training progress.
Basic qualifications
- Proven, consistent track record in housekeeping is required
- Proven experience in a supervisory housekeeping role preferred.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care, and janitorial practices.
Preferred qualifications
- Previous documented hotel experience is required.
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning methods and custodial experience is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse team.
