Job Summary:
Under close supervision follows oral and written directives for the transportation of materials and equipment to job sites. Warehouse duties include the organization, maintenance required for a safe working environment.
Qualifications:
Applicants must be in good physical condition, capable of lifting a minimum of 70 lbs, English speaking and at least 21 years of age. High school graduates or equivalent are preferred. A valid Class C California driver’s license acceptable to the Company insurance provider is required. Applicant must pass pre-employment physical, drug screening and background check.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Valid CA Class C driver's license acceptable to company standards
Observe all safety policies and procedures
Ability to bend, kneel and lift 70 lbs.
Maintain physical security of cargo to prevent shifting and damage
Count and check incoming deliveries
Maintain warehouse, storage yards and parking lots in clean and safe condition
Maintain inventory in neat and orderly arrangement
Assist with vehicle fueling and maintenance
Load and unload materials from trucks
Operate forklifts, hand trucks and small tools
English Speaking
Demonstrate effective internal teamwork with coworkers and management
