Warehouse Fulfillment Manager
The Warehouse Fulfillment Manager (Pharmacy Operations Manager) is a key member of the Vetsource Pharmacy Operations team, driving excellence across the Workflow, Receiving/Inventory, and Production domains. We are looking for an innovative leader to develop and lead operations of our new pharmacy location in McDonough, GA opening in September 2026.The Warehouse Fulfillment manager will be responsible for launching and co-managing the pharmacy location, including hiring and training a team of pharmacists, technicians, and other staff to grow the operation.
The Warehouse Fulfillment Manager will ensure that pharmacy workflow, shipping and receiving, process compliance, and service levels are met by tracking and monitoring Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). This role will direct the planning, managing, and delivery of training for Workflow, Receiving/Inventory, and Production personnel in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures and Protocols to maintain safe, efficient, and accurate order fulfillment and tight inventory control. Additionally, they will assist the VP of Pharmacy Operations in developing and expanding the order fulfillment infrastructure, including reviewing metrics and providing analysis to drive innovation.
This position is an on-site role based at our new Pharmacy Warehouse in McDonough, GA. This is a full time position typically scheduled within our operating hours of Monday-Friday between 7:00am - 5:00pm and Saturdays 7:00am - 3:30pm ET. This role has an anticipated start date of June 28, 2026.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Pharmacy Workflow
Lead division meetings and attend pertinent department meetings
Ensure the division functions smoothly and meets its daily/weekly goals
Collaborate with various team to build efficiency and resolve issues within the division
Assist the VP of Pharmacy Operations with the development and expansion of the order fulfillment infrastructure
Assist the Pharmacist in Charge with the annual review of Standard Operating Procedures
Receive/Overstock and Replenishment
Drive projects and best practices in scheduling, unloading, storing, and replenishing inbound material
Ensure receipts are processed promptly for all types of receipt transactions
Ensure the successful completion of Inventory Cycle Counts and Annual Physical Counts
Organize random replenishment audits to ensure they are compliant
Production
Continuously streamline work order creation and production workflow to improve productivity
Recommend fixtures and automation alternatives to improve productivity and yield
Work closely with various system support teams to ensure smooth operations
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Manage the pharmacy technicians and clerical staff of the Pharmacy Operations division
Make employment decisions such as hiring, dismissal, disciplinary action, and promotions
Resolve conflicts and issues within the team in a timely and fair manner, escalating concerns as necessary
Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to regulations, e.g., OSHA,NIOSH
WHAT YOU BRING
6+ years experience in fulfillment or distribution operations
5+ years management experience in a warehouse fulfillment environment
Current valid Pharmacy Technician certification OR ability to obtain licensure within 90 days of employment
Experience managing associates with team-building, coaching, discipline, and staff development
Strong communication and conflict resolution skills in a highly collaborative environment
Excellent computer skills including ERP, WMS, and Order Management software proficiency
Strong organization, time management, and problem-solving skills
Preferred Experience and Qualifications:
Lean or Six Sigma Certification
Project coordination experience and space planning/optimization skills
Experience in a mail order/veterinary pharmacy or desire to work in a specialist pharmacy environment
WORKING CONDITIONS
An environment where dogs are present, if in the office
Lifting and shelving items weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly
Ability to work standing on pressurized concrete for long periods of time
Occasionally stooping, lifting, and/or bending
Occasionally reaching overhead and using a step ladder

Pay range (US based applicants): $95,133 - $110,000 (annualized)
Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, experience, certifications, relevant education and training, while also considering internal equity.
