OverviewThe Director, Lifecycle Management plays a critical role in shaping the strategic and commercial trajectory, commercial valuation, and portfolio shaping of growth opportunities for barzolvolimab. Reporting to the Vice-President, New Product Planning & Lifecycle Management, this role will have end-to-end accountability for the development of lifecycle opportunities from business case development through launch readiness.
This role is ideal for a candidate who combines strong analytical rigor with strategic thinking, thrives in fast-paced diligence environments, demonstrates outstanding ability to work both collaboratively across functions as well as independently and self-directed, and is motivated to grow into broader leadership responsibilities over time.
Responsibilities
- Shape and progress lifecycle opportunities by defining clear strategic intent, value hypotheses, and robust business cases from ideation to launch readiness.
- Lead the identification of key value drivers and translate these into the development of Target Product Profiles (TPPs), value proposition elements & key decision criteria for commercial success, including POC criteria (proof-of- concept) for all potential follow-on indications of barzolvolimab.
- Assess competitive landscapes, evolving standards of care, and emerging data to guide product positioning and TPPs.
- Maintain up-to-date market landscape and competitive assessment for all the target indications of barzolvolimab.
- Translate customer, payer, and market insights into clear product requirements and strategic recommendations for the Clinical development teams.
- Develop product narratives that articulate clinical value, unmet need, and differentiation for internal decision-making and external stakeholders.
- Prepare and present product strategy updates to governance forums and senior leadership.
Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree in business or science or related discipline required. An advanced degree (MS, MD, PhD or MBA) is preferred
- 10 + years related experience in life cycle management, new product planning, marketing or related consulting is required
- Demonstrated ability to understand and translate clinical/scientific information into commercial/business insights is required.
- Extensive experience working with Research and Development teams, and ability to engage credibly with internal and external stakeholders around scientific topics
- A strong business orientation and the ability to view issues from multiple functional perspectives
- Strong analytical, organizational and project management skills
- Excellent interpersonal communication and presentation skills with the ability to interface seamlessly with other parts of organization
- Strong ability to influence effectively across functional teams
- Travel required up to 15%
The expected base salary range for this position is $176,659 to $229,427.We are committed to compensating employees equitably based on several factors including experience, education, licensure/certifications, skill level, location of the position, and availability of similar talent in a competitive market.
Compensation for this role includes base salary, annual discretionary bonus, long term incentive, 401(K) plan with employer contribution, health care and other insurance benefits (for employee and family), paid holidays, vacation, and sick days.
