Responsibilities
Under the Corporate Director of Data Engineering and Analytics, this position will play a critical role in gathering, transforming, and consolidating financial information to support financial analysis, reporting, and decision-making processes for Revenue Cycle, Business Office, and Decision Support in analyzing and monitoring the valuation of patient accounts receivables and credit balances for all hospitals and physician groups. The analyst will work closely with finance teams, IT professionals, and data providers across 45 facilities to ensure the seamless flow of financial data, maintain data integrity, and enable accurate and insightful financial analysis related to revenue cycle data points, such as cash postings, denials, patient access, etc.

Required qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Clinical Healthcare field, Business Discipline, Healthcare Management, Health Information management or Information Science or equivalent experience.2. One or more (1+) years of data analytics experience3. Advanced skills in other standard reporting tools such as SQL Server Reports, Crystal Reports and Business Objects.4. Proficiency in data extraction, transformation, and integration techniques.5. Experience with data integration tools, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, and programming languages (Python, SQL, etc.).6. Strong understanding of financial concepts, financial analysis, and reporting.7. Knowledge of financial systems, databases, and data structures.8. Familiarity with data visualization and reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Excel).
Preferred qualifications:
1. Excellent communication skills and an attitude to challenge the status quo.2. Strong analytical skills and ability to prepare data models.3. Experience with Relay suite of products.4. Superb Excel skills (v-lookups, sum if, sum product, indirect, etc.)5. Analytical mindset and attention to detail.6. Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.7. Knowledge of data governance, compliance, and data security practices is desirable.
