The Sr. Brand Finance Manager owns and leads the end-to-end financial strategy and evaluation of the Business Financial Strategy, Innovation pipeline, driving optimized P&L performance across Breakthrough, Incremental, Continuous, and Renovation initiatives. Acts as a financial co‑pilot to Marketing and cross‑functional teams, aligning on value creation through standardized financial models, metrics, hurdles, and post‑launch performance reviews that accelerate enterprise growth and profitability.
What are we looking for?
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field. MS/MBA is preferred.
- 7+ years of Finance Business Partnership experience. Brand Finance experience is preferred.
- CPG/Food/Bev experience is a plus
- Demonstrated analytical and insights capabilities with advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills, intermediate Power BI.
- Strong track record of influencing senior business leaders and driving performance outcomes.
- Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and communication skills.
What will be your key responsibilities?
Financial Leadership
- Own the end-to-end financial management of the Business, Innovation projects, including P&L development, scenario planning, financial modeling, post‑launch reviews, and portfolio optimization.
- Design and implement standardized financial frameworks, metrics, hurdles, and performance thresholds to guide investment decisions and resource allocation.
- Lead SKU optimization and portfolio strategy analysis to maximize ROI while minimizing complexity within the Growth Archetype framework.
Strategic Partnership & Influence
- Serve as a financial co‑pilot to BMT Marketing Directors, Brand Managers, Project Managers, and cross‑functional partners throughout the Innovation planning lifecycle.
- Influence and align stakeholders on financial expectations, success measures, and investment trade‑offs to drive faster revenue and profit realization.
- Partner closely with BMT Finance Copilots to ensure consistency, rigor, and best practices across Innovation initiatives.
Advanced Financial Modeling & Analysis
- Develop and maintain sophisticated financial models aligned to growth archetypes, consumer spaces, scale jobs, and Marketing Insights parameters.
- Deliver accurate, forward‑looking P&L projections and rigorous post‑launch performance assessments.
- Provide deep financial insights and recommendations to support key Innovation and growth strategies.
Tools, Data & Digital Enablement
- Partner with the Insights & Marketing to drive rollout, adoption, and optimization of Innovation management digital tools and platforms.
- Enhance efficiency, transparency, and decision quality in Innovation financial tracking and reporting.
Capability Building & Ways of Working
- Drive adoption of step‑change ways of working through education, influence, and training across Marketing, cross‑functional teams, and One Demand Finance.
- Establish and scale best‑in‑class financial processes, tools, and governance for Innovation management.
