Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Medical Assistant / Patient Coordinator / Surgical Tech with a minimum of 2 years of experience in plastic surgery or a related specialty. This is a dynamic, multi-faceted role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the physician with clinical procedures and patient care
Prepare and maintain treatment rooms and surgical suites
Provide pre- and post-operative patient education and support
Coordinate patient schedules, consultations, and follow-ups
Serve as a primary point of contact for patients, ensuring a seamless experience
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Support front and back office operations as needed
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of experience in plastic surgery, dermatology, or cosmetic medical practice
Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, sterile techniques, and patient care protocols
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Professional appearance and demeanor
EMR experience preferred
