American Asphalt & Concrete, Inc. is seeking a dependable Welder to support our paving operations. This role involves welding, equipment maintenance, fabrication, and general mechanical work on a variety of construction equipment and materials.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform welding on equipment, trailers, and structural components
• Handle general mechanical repairs and preventative maintenance
• Fabricate parts and custom components as needed
• Build and modify rack systems
• Reinforce trailers and other transport equipment
• Work with a variety of materials used in construction
• Assist with miscellaneous shop tasks and field repairs
Qualifications:
• Experience with welding
• Basic mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to fabricate and modify metal components
• Familiarity with construction equipment is a plus
• Strong work ethic and ability to work independently
