NorthStar Estimating, Inc. is a small and growing consulting firm based in San Diego. We’re looking for a dependable part-time bookkeeper to help keep our books clean, organized, and up to date.
This is a good fit for someone who is detail-oriented, responsive, and comfortable working independently with a small business owner.
What we need help with:
Monthly bookkeeping
Bank and credit card reconciliations
Categorizing transactions correctly
Tracking invoices / payments
Basic payroll coordination
Monthly P&L and balance sheet reporting
Helping keep things organized for our CPA
Preferred experience:
Bookkeeping for small businesses
Xero preferred
Gusto familiarity is a plus
Construction, consulting, or professional services experience is a plus
Position details:
Part-time
Flexible hours
Remote is OK
Workload likely starts light and grows over time
W2 or 1099
