Pazza Market & Cucina – La Jolla / UTC (San Diego)
Pazza Market & Cucina is an authentic Italian restaurant located in the UTC area, currently hiring 2 experienced line cooks to join our kitchen team:
- Pizza Cook (wood-fired / high-volume experience preferred)
- Pasta / Line Cook (sauté + fresh pasta experience required)
We are a fast-paced, high-standard kitchen focused on quality and consistency. This is not an entry-level position.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and execute menu items with consistency and attention to detail.
Work efficiently during high-volume serviceMaintain a clean and organized station
Follow recipes and kitchen standardsCommunicate effectively with the team
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of line cook experienceExperience in Italian cuisine strongly preferred
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
Weekend availability required
Compensation & Schedule:
Based on experience
Full-time (5 days/week)
Lunch and dinner shifts
Busy weekend service (Friday–Sunday required)
Additional Details:
Paid trial shift required prior to hiring
