Job Summary and Qualifications
We are currently seeking Equipment Technician to join our tea. As our Equipment Technician, you willtake care of care and set up equipment with minimal supervision. Your tasks and responsibilities may include:
• You will conduct daily rounds of assigned areas, effectively performing daily inventories, ensuring availability and functionality of equipment.
• You will identify malfunctioning equipment and report appropriately.
• You will work with vendors as needed to ensure equipment is repaired and returned in timely manner.
• You will manage the rental of all hospital equipment as needed.
• You will conduct and maintain inventory logs of all owned, rented and leased equipment in collaboration with assigned department.
• You will reconcile the cleaning process with Central Sterile, EVS, and Materials Management and Nursing.
• You will actively contribute to and work toward hospital wide improvement in meeting core measures, patient safety and service excellence goals.
Qualifications:
• High school or GED Required
• Previous hospital experience is preferred
• Read, write, and comprehend medical terminology required
• Mechanical ability to assemble and disassemble equipment
