What You Will Do:- Design, develop, and maintain software for aerospace and defense applications, ensuring robust functionality and reliability.
- Implement, test, and debug software solutions to ensure compliance with project requirements and quality standards.
- Collaborate with systems engineering, hardware engineering, and other teams to ensure seamless integration and optimal system performance.
- Participate in code reviews, testing procedures, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance software quality and development processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues in a timely manner.
- Document software designs, test results, and troubleshooting processes for future reference
Qualifications You Must Have:- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (STEM).
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++, Python, or Java.
- Experience in software development life cycles, including Agile methodologies.
- The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer:- Knowledge of DevOps and DevSecOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and secure software development methodologies.
- Experience leveraging Generative AI and Machine Learning to improve productivity, collaboration, and performance
- Familiarity with real-time embedded systems or aerospace/defense applications.
- Experience with version control tools such as Git.
- Exposure to Open Systems Architectures and modular design principles.
- Exposure to cybersecurity principles and secure coding practices.
- Experience with software testing and debugging tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
