About the Role:
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time IT Support Specialist to join our team. This is an entry-level position ideal for someone with foundational IT knowledge who is eager to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. This role will primarily support day-to-day technical needs, including onboarding new employees and maintaining company devices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and configure laptops, desktops, and mobile devices for new hires
- Create and manage user accounts, usernames, and system access
- Provide basic technical support for employees (hardware, software, and login issues)
- Troubleshoot and resolve common IT issues in a timely manner
- Assist with equipment inventory and asset tracking
- Ensure all devices are properly updated and secured
- Support IT team with additional tasks and projects as needed
Qualifications:
- Basic understanding of computer systems, networks, and troubleshooting
- Some prior IT experience required (internship, coursework, or entry-level role)
- Familiarity with Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office/365
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to communicate clearly with non-technical team members
- Highly organized and dependable
Schedule & Flexibility:
- Part-time role, primarily Wednesday through Friday
- Must be flexible with hours based on business needs and onboarding schedules
