We are seeking a strategic and innovative Senior Director of IT to lead our technology vision and drive business growth.
Position SummaryThe Senior Director of IT is a key executive leader responsible for shaping and executing Busch’s technology strategy. This role oversees IT infrastructure, development, cybersecurity, and enterprise systems to ensure scalable, secure, and innovative solutions that support business operations and enhance the guest experience.
Key Responsibilities- Lead programming and infrastructure teams, setting strategic direction and ensuring operational excellence
- Develop and execute a multi-year IT strategy aligned with company growth and business priorities
- Own IT operating and capital budgets, ensuring strong ROI and disciplined investment decisions
- Establish and advance enterprise data strategy, governance, and analytics capabilities
- Oversee cybersecurity strategy, ensuring protection of systems, data, and guest information
- Manage core retail systems, including POS, e-commerce, loyalty, supply chain, and pricing platforms
- Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Merchandising, Marketing, and Finance to deliver impactful technology solutions
- Lead change management efforts to support the adoption of new technologies across the organization
- Build and develop a high-performing IT team, including talent development and succession planning
- Identify and implement innovative technologies to improve efficiency and drive competitive advantage
- Oversee IT infrastructure to ensure system reliability, scalability, and performance
- Communicate effectively with executive leadership, translating technical concepts into business value
- Lead IT projects from planning through implementation, ensuring timelines, quality, and standards are met
Qualifications- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- 10+ years of IT leadership experience, including managing development teams and SDLC processes
- Experience with enterprise architecture, systems integration, and scalable platforms
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Expertise in cybersecurity, compliance, and risk management
- Experience with SQL Server and data/ETL processes preferred
- Retail or grocery industry experience preferred
- Proven ability to lead high-performing teams and influence across all levels of the organization
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
