Position Summary
We are seeking a Computer Support Specialist to join our dynamic IT team.
This role investigates and resolves software and hardware problems in a Microsoft-centric enterprise environment. Performs in-depth troubleshooting and supports enterprise users with complex technical needs. The position requires a customer 1st mindset, strong analytical skills, deep knowledge of Microsoft technologies, and collaboration with all IT teams.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Provide technical assistance and training to computer system users
- Resolve service requests within defined SLAs and in support of team KPI’s
- Advanced troubleshooting of device operating systems, hardware, and peripherals
- Support Microsoft 365 including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive
- Administer and troubleshoot AD, Entra ID including accounts, groups, and MFA
- Provide support for Microsoft Teams meetings, voice, and conferencing systems
- Support managed endpoints for compliance, application deployment, and profiles
- Diagnoses and resolve networking issues including VPN, DNS, and Wi-Fi access
- Perform root cause analysis and recommend corrective actions
- Create and maintain knowledge base documentation
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes
- Collaborate with infrastructure, network, security, and cloud teams
- Assist in rollout of updates and new technologies
- Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency improvements
- Ensures compliance with Flexfab’ s IT security policies and standards
- Responsible for calling for service and coordinating the repair of PC’s and laptops
- Responsible for coordinating the installation of data drops with wiring contractors
- Responsible for coordinating the troubleshooting and installation of the fleet of printers and Multi-Function Printers (MFP’s) with supplier
- Participates in on-call or after-hours rotations as needed
- Other projects and duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a relevant field or equivalent experience
- 1-2 years’ experience supporting users on windows desktop operating systems
- Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Ability to communicate well both in writing and verbally with a wide range of internal and external contacts.
- Professional certifications CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+ preferred
Role Scope
- Assists computer users by fielding and maintaining questions from throughout the corporation using the helpdesk ticketing system. This is accomplished by debugging the issue and correcting it if possible. This skill draws on knowledge and experience. Problem escalation can occur if immediate resolution is not found. Must follow up and communicate the resolution and verify success with the user.
- Responsible for PC hardware and software installation, including license tracking, throughout Flexfab and associated companies. Hardware installation could be from an entire PC to individual disk drives, internal cards, memory, power supply, etc. This includes coordinating outside contractors for wiring installation. Software support could be anything from configuration settings to downloading and installing fixes/patches to researching potential packages.
- Responsible for logging in all PC’s (including the software contents), printers, etc., including model numbers, serial numbers, data closet connections and filing registrations for maintenance.

Working Conditions
The position is primarily office-based, with occasional off-hours work required for maintenance and incident response. Individual must be able to lift 50lbs.
