The Junior Security Operations Analyst will play a critical role in maintaining the security of our systems and network infrastructure. This includes monitoring security alerts, analyzing incidents, investigating security breaches, and conducting vulnerability assessments. The ideal candidate has a passion for cybersecurity, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, and is eager to learn and grow in their career.

Responsibilities:

Monitor security alerts and investigate potential security breaches
Analyze security incidents and determine appropriate response actions
Conduct vulnerability assessments and provide recommendations for remediation
Assist with the implementation and maintenance of security tools and technologies
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with security policies and regulations
Maintain documentation and reports related to security incidents and investigations
Stay up-to-date on the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and best practices

Requirements

1-2 years of relevant experience in IT or cybersecurity
Knowledge of cybersecurity principles, protocols, and technologies
Familiarity with security tools and technologies, such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and antivirus solutions
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Relevant certifications such as Security+, Network+, or CISSP are a plus
