Staffing Lab represents a client that has asked us to assist in identifying a candidate for a Full Time IT Technology Support Specialist for an opening within their organization. LOCAL Candidates Only. Candidates must be willing to be onsite 5 days a week. Company pays 100% of the medical premiums for employees.
As an IT Technician, you will manage the Move | Add | Change | Delete (MACD) process for customer mobile devices and laptops from our office. This includes device provisioning, configuration, and decommissioning. Experience with Microsoft 365 is required, and experience with mobile device management platforms such as Intune is highly preferred. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and technical proficiency to ensure efficient and accurate handling of IT assets.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute MACD tasks for laptops and mobile devices.
- Configure, provision, and manage customer equipment from our logistics center.
- Maintain accurate records of device inventory, assignments, and status updates.
- Assist in software installations and device configurations using Microsoft 365 and Intune or other MDM platforms.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely processing of logistics requests.
- Provide remote support to customers when needed to ensure devices function as expected upon receipt.
- Ensure all MACD actions are logged, tracked, and documented accurately in company systems.
- Stay current on mobile and IT hardware trends, MDM platforms, and logistics tools.
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of the IT logistics area.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree in IT or related field is a plus.
- 2+ years of experience in IT logistics, technical support, or mobile device/laptop provisioning.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365.
- Experience with Intune or other MDM platforms is highly preferred.
- Excellent organizational, documentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
