Job Title: IT Technician
Location: Vienna, VA (Onsite – 5 days/week)
Business Unit: Desktop Support
Pay Rate: $20–$22 per hour on W2
Experience Required: 1–5 years
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled IT Technician to provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 desktop support in a fast-paced, onsite environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with hardware and software troubleshooting, asset management, and end-user support.
Key Responsibilities
Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 diagnostics and troubleshooting for hardware and software issues.
Support PC, laptop, and thin client devices.
Document operating procedures and maintain accurate ticket notes.
Manage and update tickets using ServiceNow or a similar ticketing system.
Perform asset management and inventory control, including:
Handle employee workstation moves, including:
Equipment tear-downs
Installations
Cable management
Work independently and collaboratively within a large team environment.
Required Skills & Qualifications
1–5 years of experience in desktop or technical support.
Experience with Tier 1 or Tier 2 troubleshooting.
Familiarity with PC, laptop, and thin client hardware.
Experience with ServiceNow or a comparable ticketing system.
Knowledge of asset management and inventory control processes.
Strong organizational, planning, and time-management skills.
Ability to communicate effectively and maintain detailed documentation.
