JOB TITLE: Junior Systems Administrator

SALARY: $60,000 - $72,000
SUMMARY: The Junior Systems Administrator supports the IT Operations Manager in maintaining and improving the organization’s technology environment. This role focuses on diagnosing and resolving technical issues, assisting with administration of cloud-based systems, and supporting staff across the organization. The Junior Systems Administrator will gain hands-on experience with enterprise systems (Microsoft 365, Azure, Box, etc.) and develop skills toward broader systems administration responsibilities over time.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Work with staff to diagnose and resolve hardware and software problems.
- Maintain PPA technology equipment (printers, computer accessories, etc.).
- Research and recommend solutions to improve hardware and software issues.
- Track and maintain hardware and software inventory.
- Provide user support and guidance on hardware and software tools, including boarding assistance.
- Package, ship, and track equipment for remote staff.
- Maintain hardware/software update and maintenance program with staff.
- Assist IT Operations Manager with software administration functions (Entra ID, SharePoint,Azure, Box, etc.)
- Assist with technology support for PPA and RFxPremier projects, programs, conferences, and events.
- Assist the IT Operations Manager with implementing and enforcing security policies and protocols.
- Execute regular maintenance, updates, and upgrades to PPA IT systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Serve as tier 2 support for reported tickets and incidents with PPA systems.
- Collaborate with internal departments and staff to understand their IT needs and ensure the hardware and software solutions provided align with organizational objectives.
TRAVEL
- Intermittent travel to NASPO/PPA events will be required.

- Ability to handle multiple tasks, projects, and priorities effectively and professionally.
- High school (or equivalent) or applicable Tech certification(s) (hardware/software tech support preferable)
