Position Overview:Are you passionate about organizing data and eager to dive into data architecture? We're seeking an entry-level Data Architect to help construct our data lakehouse. If you have foundational knowledge and a desire to learn, we offer mentorship, training, and the chance to contribute meaningfully to exciting data projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Work closely with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand requirements.
- Help design the scalable structure for our data lakehouse.
- Assist in integrating different data sources and ensuring data quality.
- Participate in developing ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.
- Help document architectural decisions, procedures, and best practices.
- Support security and data governance initiatives within the lakehouse.
- Stay current with data engineering trends and recommend improvements as you grow in role.
Qualifications:- Foundational understanding of data architecture and data modeling concepts.
- Exposure to cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and big data frameworks (Hadoop, Spark, etc.) a plus.
- Working knowledge of SQL or related database technologies.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to solve problems collaboratively.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work on a team.
- Eagerness to learn and continuously develop technical skills.
Preferred Attributes:
- Experience working with databases or basic data warehousing projects (academic or professional).
- Familiarity with ETL tools or data pipeline concepts.
- Interest in security and data privacy practices.
