To evaluate and administer current and potential technology solutions and proposed changes. Lead the design, acquisition and/or configuration of new technology, upgrades, and modifications.

Examples of Duties
- Escalation point for support requests and help desk tickets
- Assists with taking support calls and service requests as needed
- Helps gather requirements for on-prem and cloud infrastructure and application implementation
- Performs routine maintenance and upgrades for Windows operating system
- Participates in troubleshooting and support of Active Directory, Printing, Phone and application infrastructure
- Monitors systems, identifies problems, and analyzes potential fixes
- Participates in problem management activities such as issue resolution and root cause analysis
- Coordinates account creation/maintenance/rights assignment with Systems Administrators and System Engineer
- Supports network services (such as DNS, DHCP, Identity, VPN, and sign-on)
- Coordinates application deployment/support with Application Administrator II
- Contributes to documentation and support procedures
- Participates in planning, testing and implementation of upgrades
- Adheres to departmental developed best practices
- Acts as an escalation point for the team
- Available for after-hours support as needed
- Performs other duties as apparent or assigned

Minimum/Desirable Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Associates degree in Information Technology or related field, or at least three years of System/Application Administration or Help Desk experience
- Two years of System/Application Administration or Help Desk experience
- Strong writing and documentation skills
Desirable Qualifications
- Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP)
- CompTIA server certifications
- Basic Scripting Knowledge
- Experience in datacenter configuration, build and maintenance
- Experience in Cloud based infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Experience with automated computer deployment, help desk, and/or technology inventory management systems (e.g., LANDESK, SCCM)
