About The Role
As an
IT Administrator II, you’ll be the trusted expert supporting our employees and contractors both in-person and remotely. You'll troubleshoot hardware and software issues, build and maintain system images, manage escalations from IT Administrator I team members, and help ensure smooth onboarding/offboarding processes in partnership with HR.
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys digging into technical puzzles, keeping operations running efficiently, and communicating clearly with both technical and non-technical users. You’ll also take part in server maintenance rotations, collaborate with other system administrators, and contribute to innovative approaches that keep our IT environment modern and secure.
What You’ll Do
- Monitor and maintain system operations, including user authentication, permissions, and account records
- Develop and manage system images for desktop computing systems
- Handle escalations from IT Administrator I team members
- Manage employee and contractor onboarding/offboarding alongside HR
- Serve as a lead or contributor during monthly server maintenance rotations
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues by identifying root causes and implementing solutions
- Analyze and recommend hardware configurations based on usage, security, and cost considerations
- Support help desk teams by resolving tickets and preventing recurring problems
- Represent Meridian Cooperative at conferences and industry events
- Take initiative in thought leadership, innovation, and continuous improvement
- Adhere to corporate policies and support additional responsibilities as assigned
- Travel as needed
Minimum Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Experience: 3–4 years in IT support or systems administration
- Certifications: None required (but always a plus!)

- Paid Time Off: Eligible to begin accrual from date of hire; accrual amount based on years of service. Beginning accrual rate equivalent to 22 days per year. 9 holidays which include the day after Thanksgiving, and Christmas Eve. Up to 240 hours of PTO can roll over to the following year.
- Volunteer Time: 8 hours per year
- Retirement: Robust 401K. Following one year of eligible service, the Company contributes in two ways: (1) match of 100% of each dollar you contribute on the first five percent (5%) of eligible compensation, and (2) Employer basic contribution of 4% of base salary (with increases in basic contribution percentage based on years of service). Employees are 100% vested in Company funded contributions from the date they enter the plan.
