Client Overview
Our client is an exciting entertainment services company in Tampa, FL. They are looking to add a
Level 1 Desktop Support Technician to their team.
Salary/Hourly Rate
$25/hr - $30/hr
Position Overview
The Level 1 Desktop Support Technician will work part of a team onsite at all large events and offices, supporting all hardware, software, and network devices for in-office employees and temporary event staff as needed. This is a fully onsite role that is contract to hire.
Responsibilities Of The Level 1 Desktop Support Technician
- Provide exceptional technical assistance for Windows desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network problems promptly and professionally.
- Work on desktop imaging, deployment, and patching processes through Microsoft Intune and Ninja One platforms.
- Administer and manage Azure Active Directory, Group Policy, and user account provisioning.
- Lead and coordinate desktop support initiatives, including hardware refreshes and software deployments.
- Document and maintain procedures, solutions, and best practices in the internal knowledge base.
- Install, relocate, configure, and customize workstations for temporary employees during events.
Required Experience/Skills for the Level 1 Desktop Support Technician:
- 3 - 5 years of experience in desktop support or a related field.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Intune and ticketing systems.
- Hands-on experience with Office 365.
- Advanced knowledge of Windows OS.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or certification in IT (A+ or Network+) is required.
