We're seeking an exceptional Senior Business Intelligence Engineer for our FinOps Healthcare Data and Analytics team. You'll deliver engineering excellence in data visualization, develop pipelines and build analytics solutions. You'll identify, design and create automation solutions, using artificial intelligence (inter alia). As a key member of a global team of analytics professionals, you'll be a major contributor to business and process outcomes in the area of Healthcare Finance Operations.
Key job responsibilities
-\\tSupport the organization's strategic business objectives, process outcomes and decisions by analytical insights
-\\tCollaborate with business leaders and users to optimize data-driven business processes
-\\tProvide reliable, accurate, timely reporting for operations activities and leadership decision making
-\\tDesign and implement complex, scalable, and high-performance data pipelines and models
-\\tCollaborate cross-functionally with technology teams, such as data engineers and data scientists, to define and deliver BI solutions
-\\tBuild reports and dashboards using Amazon QuickSight
-\\tUse advanced analytics techniques, such as statistical analysis and predictive modeling, to uncover hidden patterns, trends and opportunities
-\\tImplement AI-powered self-service analytics tools
-\\tIdentify, evaluate, and implement automation opportunities, incl. AI technology; continuously enhance analytics while reducing manual effort
-\\tRepresent the BI function in business reviews and provide data-driven recommendations to business and process leaders
About the team
Global Accounts Payable and Global Accounts Receivable are in charge of all AP and AR processes across Amazon's businesses and geographies. Global Data Analytics (GDA) provide data, analytics and insights to AR and AP. Our mission: "As trusted and business-focused analytics partners, we provide timely data, analytics, and insights across Service Centers (SCs) and global functions. We are custodians of data and metrics definitions. We apply science methods to large-scale transactional processes and use automation to improve efficiency."
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of SQL, ETL or Oracle experience
- 3+ years of processing large, multi-dimensional datasets from multiple sources experience
- 1+ years of developing automated reporting experience
- Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
- Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines
- Experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse and scripting experience (Python) to process data for modeling
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with AWS solutions such as EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift
- Experience in data mining, ETL, etc. and using databases in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $89,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
